Hey all! I have a client who is seeking help with finding a Florida licensed practitioner.

I’m not sure with the Florida laws, so it may be a special kind of clinician she needs but she was told that she needs a LMHP practitioner that can write a letter confirming her eligibility for a support pet certification. She has struggled with a lot of insurance switches, so she was seeing a counselor and is not anymore. She does not have insurance right now (but is in the process of trying to obtain it) so is looking for an affordable self-pay option. Please indicate your rates or if you offer sliding scale. She’s hoping she may only need a few appointments.

She is feeling trapped and wants to travel since her support system is mostly out of state and up here in NY. She has friends/family offering help with that, but she can’t leave her dog behind and he’s very important to her. Her diagnoses are PTSD, depression, and anxiety. She is recovering from a DV relationship.

Open to in-person or online, whatever is required. She lives in Davie, FL and would be open to travleing to Ft Lauderdale, Plantation, Hollywood, or other surrounding areas in the same radius.

Let me know if you have any other questions. I appreciate all of you :) She is a previous coaching client of mine and I know that she could really benefit from this, unfortunately I’m not licensed in her state and don’t provide her with therapy.
