Trauma Treatment Group

Trauma affects a large portion of our client population. I have over two decades of experience working with traumatized populations with Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and more recently Internal Family Systems (IFS). Group members will have opportunity to present cases and receive support and suggestions for helping clients heal.

Price: $85 Per Session

Please note that applying to a group does not automatically grant membership to the group. All applications are reviewed and final member selections are made by group leaders and Belongly. Once accepted into a group, your first session is free to ensure the group is the right fit for you, then payments will be processed in 1-month increments, for the duration of your involvement and beginning just prior to the second group meeting.

Consultation Groups and Peer Support Groups are not therapy or supervision.

Gregory B. Milbourne, Psy.D.

Dr. Milbourne is a licensed psychologist specializing in work with children, families, couples and adults across the lifespan. From veterans and first responders with anxiety, trauma and substance abuse to helping families, couples, adults and children, Dr. Milbourne focuses on obtaining and maintaining good physical and mental health. Proficient in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for trauma and anxiety, Dr. Milbourne uses this and other techniques, such as his training in marital and sex therapy, to expand healthy behaviors and reduce distress.

His career as a psychotherapist follows an undergraduate major in Soviet Area Studies, and five years living in Europe including two as an Army officer during the first Gulf War. Fluent in Russian, he utilizes his diverse background to bond with clients of different cultural experiences. Dr. Milbourne has over a quarter century experience helping people overcome addictions and gain greater freedom and happiness in recovery.
