Sophia works with emerging adults. She received her MSW from the University of Southern California, where she focused on studying the impact of social media on mental health.

Prior to becoming a therapist, Sophia attended Northwestern University’s Honors Program in Medical Education and centers healthy habits in her work as an extension of this training. She readily collaborates with your other care providers — primary care physicians, psychiatrists, nutritionists, physical therapists, and whoever else you consider a part of your care team. This collaborative approach is what brought Sophia to Belongly in the first place and she is eager to help leverage social platforms for social good.

Why I Love Belongly

“Belongly is the ultimate resource for peer support amongst mental health professionals. It is a space for mental health providers to connect in a way that not only encourages collaboration and exchange of information but also to do so in a secure way that protects the client and patient confidentiality. That’s really special and something I’m grateful to be a part of growing.”
