Intensive Outpatient Treatment For Addiction: To help people get past their addictions, I take a two pronged approach. 1) Helping the addicted person with a behavioral approach, while learning how to change their addictive patterns. 2) Understanding and effectively dealing with the underlying emotions and stressors that feed the addiction.
Whenever possible, I include meaningful others in the recovery process. Our work together can include monitoring progress between sessions with email, texts, or phone, depending on the specific situation.
