Query: My name is Corinne Hocke and I’m a health writer for Fraulila.de. I’m reaching out because I’m working on a piece about low libido/loss of libido in women/people with female sexual organs. I would like to add some further expertise to this article, so I have a few questions about the topic and would love to learn from your experience;
From your experience, what are the most common reasons for low libido or loss of libido in women?
Do you know any rare/special or underrated reasons for low libido which could be interesting for people with female anatomy?
What actions would you recommend to people with female sexual organs to overcome low libido?
Do you have any information about certain medical conditions like endometriosis, PCOS etc. and how they might influence female libido? I’m interested in PCOS in particular, because women with PCOS usually have higher levels of testosterone than healthy women, so one might think they might have a higherlibido, but I’m not so sure about that.
Is there anything else you’d like to add?
I’m also grateful for every hint to studies which focus on loss of libido in premenopausal women. I have found a lot of information about peri- and postmenopausal women, but would like to add some information about young women, too. Please provide your name, full credentials and professional website or LinkedIn account.
