Richard has over 32 years of experience working with individuals, children, adolescents, and adults in the community as a Clinical Case Manager for the homeless in Tampa Fl., in residential dual diagnosis programs with Volunteers of America of Florida as an Independent Living Counselor and Program Specialist, and as an intern Counselor with BayCare Behavioral Health Dual Diagnosis Residential Program and as a Clinician/ Discharge Planner for an In-Patient Psychiatric Hospital, and for over 30 years Richard has served as an Ordained Minister and Christian Counselor in various church ministries and youth centers. Richard's work experience has helped him to develop a vast expertise in working with families in distress, children with school and behavioral problems, Autism (Children and Adults), Learning Disabled Children, and working with individuals who have experienced trauma, anxiety, and depression. Richard is a family centered therapist and will encourage parent and sibling engagement in therapy sessions with children and adolescents when it is appropriate. When individuals have spouses or significant partners, Richard will allow the client to invite partners into sessions when it is therapeutically beneficial and desired by the client.
