Marielle’s main theoretical orientations are existentialism and a person-centered approach, as well as integrating creativity, eco-therapy, and spirituality-centered therapeutic techniques. Her master’s work included a specialization in eco-therapy. Some examples of eco-therapy modalities that can be implemented into treatment are walk-and-talk therapy, forest bathing, planting/gardening, and nature meditation. Marielle is motivated to help assist individuals in finding a deeper individual and collective consciousness while having a strong emphasis on community. She helps clients in finding inner peace and working toward radical acceptance. Marielle is continuously looking to expand her knowledge and grow as an individual, and by honoring the light in others, it helps honor the light in her.
