The idea of counseling may seem threatening, but my purpose is to make counseling safe & worthwhile as I am invited into each client's life. I specialize in children, adolescents, and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, attachment disorders, high functioning autism, and behavioral problems. I like to offer understanding & knowledge to clients' psychological needs while additionally teaching life-long skills to strengthen mental health with a goal of alleviation or eradication of symptoms. I like to help each client by tailoring treatment to fit his/her needs. I utilize evidence-based treatments, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, EMDR (eye movement desensitization & reprocessing), and play therapy. I also incorporate Biblical truths when requested.
