Recent Updates From Sarah Pitkin
Last updated | Wednesday March 26, 2025

As the demands of daily life become increasingly complex, many people find themselves struggling with anxiety, depression, substance abuse, relational conflicts, difficulty with managing life-work balance, and unresolved trauma from earlier experiences.
In my practice, I aim to help clients clarify their problems, define goals, and to develop insight into emotional and relational challenges. Through a collaborative relationship, I assist clients in using their own strengths and abilities, in conjunction with any additional coping skills or strategies needed, to master a sense of life balance and well being.
I enjoy working with adolescents, adults, couples and families. I use an integrated approach that includes psycho-education, mindfulness, cognitive behavior therapy, trauma informed therapy, positive psychology and art therapy. As a licensed substance abuse treatment practitioner, I assist clients and their families in understanding the bio-psycho-social aspects of addiction and facilitate strategies and connections that support recovery.
